Television Product Placement Analysis
The Joyce Julius research staff will monitor the television program in question for a brand of your choosing. All clear, in-focus on-screen time, product silhouettes and verbal references will be tabulated. A Recognition GradeĀ®-which takes into consideration factors such as integration into the storyline, size of the identity, frequency-will then be applied to each instance of exposure to determine the precise exposure value of the product placement.
Motion Picture Product Placement-Theatre Analysis
The Joyce Julius research staff will produce an exposure source analysis documenting all clear brand and silhouette exposure, as well as verbal mentions accumulated during the movie's run in theaters. The exposure will be applied to a Recognition GradeĀ® encompassing the brand's presence in the film and the number of moviegoers who have viewed the motion picture. This type of analysis may reflect results stemming from the film's opening weekend, and then updated at the conclusion of the movie's theatric run to encompass worldwide viewership.
Motion Picture Product Placement-Rental/Sales Analysis
Utilizing the exposure totals gleaned from the theater analysis, the anticipated DVD/VHS rentals and sales exposure can be factored for the release week, holiday season, first year, or entire lifespan of the DVD/VHS.
On-Site Theatre Surveys
Joyce Julius will design a custom survey incorporating 10-15 aided and unaided questions pertaining to a brand's involvement with a first-run motion picture. Included in the survey may be questions pertaining to brand awareness, purchasing intent, and viewer perception of the product. The Joyce Julius research staff will work in conjunction with you in designing the qualitative survey.
Product Integration Opportunity Assessment Analyses
Movies and Television: From a script or rough outline, Joyce Julius can accurately project the exposure of a potential product placement by calling on our historical data culled from similar analyses conducted over the years. In the case of motion pictures, the projection can be customized to include future DVD/VHS releases and television distribution.
