Julius and Associates digitally measured each instance of rink board signage
brand exposure during telecasts of the 2007 Stanley Cup Finals on Versus and NBC
through the utilization of its digital tracking system, Image Identification
Technology.
Recognition
Grade factors, such as size of the identity, brand clutter, screen position and
integration/activation, were applied to the clear in-focus time, with the
results then compared to the non-discounted cost of a 30-second commercial
(Versus--$15,000, NBC--$50,000) to determine each brand’s exposure value.
