Subway garnered
a two-game, two-period exposure value of $71,500 for virtual signage during
MSG Network's coverage last week of Capitals-Rangers Eastern Conference
Quarterfinal Games Three and Four, according to Michigan-based research firm
Joyce Julius & Associates.
Superimposed Subway logos, located on the glass areas behind each goal and
at center ice at MSG, appeared clear and in-focus for five minutes, 37
seconds during the third period of Game Three on April 20. During the third
period of MSG's telecast of Game Four on April 22, the Subway logos
appeared for seven minutes, 16 seconds. The logos not only garner on-screen
time during game action, but the size and screen position of the logos
enhances the Recognition Grade (RG) of the exposure compared to
traditional board signs (Joyce Julius).
